The spring tension can still be adjusted using an adjusting screw. The design is based on Shimano's own top models. The extra-wide contact area of the PD-RS500 offers optimal power transmission. In addition, the extra-wide pedal bodies ensure high torsional rigidity and durability. Stainless steel inserts on the contact area prevent wear on the pedal bodies.
