The Hope Union Trail pedals are designed to be used on both sides. Due to a larger surface and the 4 pins per side you have an even better grip. The pedals are supplied with 2 cleats 4° or 5° freedom of movement and with 12° or 13° release angle.
The Hope Union Trail pedals are CNC machined pedals from the milling specialists, Hope Tech.
Hope has a suitable pedal for all ambitious trail riders. The pedal, which is made of 1 block of aluminum, rotates around a stable shaft made of high-quality Cr-Mo steel and has a large contact surface with the shoe for good power transmission.
The click mechanism and stainless steel cleats are impervious to external influences and will accompany you on your tours for years to come. The bearing is taken from the F20 pedal and is effectively shielded by special seals. Water and dirt that can lead to premature bearing wear have no chance to penetrate! 3 deep groove ball bearings and a self-lubricating plain bearing ensure smooth and easy running.
Two versions of the cleats are available: You can choose between 4° freedom of movement / 12° release angle or 5° freedom of movement / 13° release angle. Both cleats have a side clearance of 2 mm so that your foot is always optimally positioned.
So that the pedals visually match your bike, they are available in 6 different anodized colors. The logos are lasered, typical of Hope.
